Midge Purce

Midge Purce is a star forward for NJ/NY Gotham FC and the U.S. Women’s National Team. A two-time NWSL Champion, she was named MVP of the 2023 NWSL Championship for her pivotal, game-defining role in Gotham FC’s title victory and went on to capture her second league title in 2025, further cementing her status as one of the most elite competitors in the sport.

Recognized for her influence both on and off the field, Purce is a muti-hyphenate athlete and entrepreneur. A Harvard graduate, Purce serves as the youngest member of Harvard University’s Board of Overseers, the institution’s second-highest elected governing body. She is a founding member of the Black Women’s Player Collective (BWPC) and was part of the U.S. Women’s National Team player leadership that successfully negotiated the landmark 2022 gender discrimination settlement, helping deliver historic, precedent-setting equal pay in U.S. Soccer.

Her impact also extends across media, entertainment, and other culturally influential spaces. Purce has been named to Forbes 30 Under 30, made her Broadway debut in Chicago, and walked in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show. She also serves as CEO and founder of The Offseason Inc., a culture-shaping, athlete-driven women’s sports platform and docuseries that spotlights elite athletes during their offseason while redefining how women athletes’ stories are told globally.

Through athletic excellence, leadership in advocacy, and bold, intentional storytelling, Purce is actively shaping the future – and expanding the possibilities – of women’s sports on the field, in the boardroom, and beyond.
